It's freezing here in Brooklyn, folks! Cozy up with your favorite neighbors as we break down the week's events. First and foremost, "stable genius?" We can't. Real Housewives of Bev Hills is doing it for us this season. Even Dorit doesn't bother us too much. Rinna continues to be thirsty, but so far this season, we're IN! Margo has a great new podcast rec, and Erin loved "The Queen at 90" on Netflix, and Mark Rylance's latest Broadway play. Margo tries to talk us into watching "Black Fist" on Netflix only to realize she means "Black Mirror." We're probably gonna pass on that one, altho "Black Fist" I would totes see. Stay warm, neighbors!

But it's the holidays, so the neighbors try to brighten the mood with recent movie reviews--THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI and LADYBIRD. One neighbors liked her movie; the other didn't. Guess which is which! We have shout-outs to listeners and a friend of the pod recommendation (Thanks, Josie!). But on an up note, Ally Walker responds to Margo's tweet and Erin's enjoying Judd Apatow's book, SICK IN THE HEAD. Jingle all the way, everyone!

Erin attends a media panel that bums her out; Margo talks VH1 shows; both talk of Netflix's GERALD'S GAME & ICE CASTLE trivia. (Bet you never thought you'd see those two titles in the same sentence!) We also talk of Gaga-Lady Gaga that is, and her Netflix doc, FIVE FOOT TWO, and get ready for Margo's dramatic reading from a memoir by some Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (I'm sure Terry Gross did a Fresh Air on the subject.) Margo takes issue with sheet-caking & what it means to be a "1-take Osmond"; and Erin recommends the nonfiction book, "What Made Maddy Run?" by Kate Fagan. A sure way to beat the summer heat--hunker down in the AC and listen to your Best Neighbors!
Welcome, Neighbors! We have consumed a fair amount of pop culture this week so let's not waste any more time and get to the main course. Margo's sister got married! She tells us the deets of her San Fran wedding; good times with family, and the several movies she watched on the plane. Oh, and she had a celeb sighting on her flight back to NYC! Erin finally saw LION; finished GLOW; finally listened to MOGUL; and watched TO THE BONE (Way to go, Keanu!) on Netflix. And both neighbors agree that the Real Housewives of NYC finale went out with a whimper instead of a bang. Enjoy and here's to the upcoming week!
